Custom new construction home
Wimberly, TX
We designed a one story plan with large open gathering spaces inside and out for this sustainable second home featuring environmental straw bale construction and geothermal heating and cooling. Wide doorways, a flush entry shower, generous lighting and custom built-ins facilitate aging in place. A low slope roof with central gable creates a definition of entry and capitalizes on hill country views while providing whole house rain catchment.
